::: Part 11 of a series of Warbird Photos :::
Taken at the monthly event at the Planes of Fame Museum on Chino Airport, California. This month, it was on "Air War over Korea" (8/2/03)
Aircraft is a North American P-51D Mustang and North American F-86F Sabre. This particular P-51 Mustang was not in Korea, but P-51s did see a lot of service in the Korean war along side the much faster F-86 Sabre swept wing jet. The F-86 Sabre in this shot went on to perform a demo over the museum and performed a heritage flight with two Mustangs including this P-51 ('Wee Willy II'). This shot was something I saw up on the spot. I was walking back from one of the hangers when I noticed this interesteing perspective. Gives a nice view of both aircraft in one shot.
Camera is a digital Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 MP). This image is only 33% of the original full size that was taken. Manual Focus, custom White Balance, custom Contrast and Exposure setting adjustments, and it's on Shutter priority mode.
