Well realism certainly wasn't the object here. The composition in this could use a little help ..right now the line of the sword and the beasts heads draws the eye out of the scene. If you turn the right head facing her, move the arm more upwards so the sword is poised to chop but still point up at a sharp angle, then extend the image vertically, you'll have a nice strong triangular composition.
