Description

I just love this scene and would like to hear about what you think of it also. I have been playing around with different techniques and have created this as an end result. This is still a WIP and I would like you to let me know what you think of my mini-waterfall ;->.

nice waterfall.... the only thing is the bank on the left needs to be softened a little.... even in nature,shorelines blend... i love the water along with your sailboat.the whole image is beautiful =]

A bi-level Vue scene--- I love it! I think the ferns are a little too large, comapratively to their surroundings, and a little too sparse (ferns grow like weeds, in large bunches), and I think the fern on the left is too bright and distracting, but otherwise (those are small, minor points), I think this is really excellent. :)

Okay, improvement comments first: Tone down the green of the ferns; desaturate the hue some or make the color darker. The pine and deciduous trees seem a little too short; let them really touch the sky to give more perspective from front-to-back of the scene. The flow of the water seems a little too peaceful for the violent rush of the waterfall; maybe tone down the whitness of the fall and include some ripples where the water is landing. Second, my impressions of the scene in general: wow. Really beautiful. A very serene quality and strongly realistic. I plan to go there in my dreams tonight! :)
