Description
"For SirJohn"
Certainly, WestWorld is one of the
many films Yul Brynner was known
for. The "Ten Commandments" and
"The King and I" are his most
well known. Sadly, Yul died of cancer
in 1985.
The sketch, referenced from a stock
photo, was done with H, HB, .3 and .5 mechanical. The frame and double
matting, soft focus, eyes and gradient
textured background was accomplished
through PSP 8.

My god, he looks so YOUNG! So much more than I am used to seeing in 'The Ten Commandments' which I have seen about a billion times by now. You have once again done an absolutely remarkable job. Everything from the expression to the fantastic shading is simply wonderful. Thanks for doing this one... I was eager to see just how you would capture the imposing features of this actors countenance. Bravo!
