Description

Bryce 5/PS 7/Xfrog The center house is from Alvynylays tutorial and from there I created the rest of the houses out of terrains. In order to create a mediterranean tiled roof I originally created a tile out of a symlat duplicated it enough times to cover the house but ended up with one house and a file size of 480 megs. So after scrapping that idea, I just created a terrain map and applied it to a terrain and viola! Instant mediterranean tiled roof. With everything in this image it only ended up being 340 megs. Still a bear for the CPU but much more reasonable to work with. Please share your thoughts on our work.

WOW!! this is excellent! The modelling on the houses looks very good and the tiled roofs look great. Love the textures on the walls, they are very authentic as is the stone wall around the pond. This gets my vote!

Better, better, better! A fantastic mediteran image! But, -not only this. It is, at first, so photorealistic. Wow! I love also the atmosphere and the stunning mountains in the background! You have my vote for this brilliant one!!!

really wonderful with realistic textures. Only the dolphins in the fountain are not so suitable.

Fantastic! You get a vote and an excellent rating! Wow! Only one crit: The lavender color on the title really distracts the eye. The image is SO good and the color bar on the title really takes away from it. Other than that. FANTASTIC!

The slight desaturation and subtle almost sepia like wash really do it for me. You did that in post? Or did the textures just lend themselves to that? Love the building textures.
