Description
One night I tied a string to the Moon,
the other end, I tied to my finger.
It was to keep his full face where it should be,
not drifting off into one of its phases.
I kept my fortress blankets tight,
Limbs restrained from the edge of my island.
Underneath it lived the hungry tiger,

That clown seriously gives me the creeps. I used to leap into bed so the crocs under mine couldn't get my feet, but I am REALLY glad it wasn't that clown under there. If they'd used him for IT I could never have watched it on TV. That poem is awesome too, sweetie!

imressive work - i join the opinion of rumour_nz - the clown is really weird ! Great work - i like the blueish touch of light - fits perfectly to the moon...

Child memories... this really is a scary one. Your words and your painting move me, make me try to remember how I felt lying in bed, afraid to go to sleep...but no memories. Great painting, and the colors you have chosen underline the scary mood.

Glad to see that even being ill hasn't stopped you creating Cass ;-) And as always I see such a painstaking labour in your work that I can't help but admire your dedication hugs :-)

Gorgeous! The cool touch of moonlight is so well done in this, and no details forgotten, from swaying curtains to green soldiers on the sill. Reminds me of the little green cowboys I had as a child myselfL And I just LOVE the clown:D That sliver of a view is just right without being too much. Pupiless eyes can be SO freaky;)

Stirring Child memories, I think as children we all had our night time fears of gremlins, hiding under the covers for fear they would reach out and grab you, such beautiful artwork Cassie. Would be an excellent illustration for a childs story book. hugs

Poetry, sufference, visionary power, intensity, dreamy style, total mind-blowing execution and stunning poem. Cassie, you're a real artist :) Love you :)

Outstanding image. And untied the string so he could sleep. And so thoughtful, too. :)

Fantastic imagery! That clown is truly frightening... Some nights I too wish I could tie the moon on a string. :)

Shut that door, the poor child she has to see this hideous figure for eternity. There better be a follow up, (What about the door slams shut and that disturbs an owl to fly past the moon holding something pecular in its mouth?)

If feel like if known about this even though ive never seen it before. Like i have always known about it. Perhaps you knew about this before you even came up with the idea. Creepy! But Enthralling and Immmersed with prose that takes you into the world by force. You are 1 of a kind.
