BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

The curves and angles of this have real poetry! The more I look at your images, the more convinced I am that you chisel stone, carve wood, and do other hands-on things. Your images reflect it.

As always a masterpiece of surrealism....

WOW! I don't know why but I just love the form on this one. The curves are hypnotic and beautiful to the eye. I have become such a fan of your work. You must love what you do. Another excellent piece(as always)!
Acerebel
Beautiful. And, even though she's touching the ground, she looks very alive (as distinct from the Last Emperor, who didn't). On this figure, the gleam has returned. She reminds me of a woman in a long dress - Etruscan or Greek - something with flowing lines. Lovely.

So true..... she seems to be in control. ;)

She has the grace of a swan. :) The depth of field is a nice touch, I must learn more about this technique.
