BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

I love the sky line! I see two apposing forces, in what appears to be a stand off. However, when I look beyond the visuals, I see that neither one may leave the other, for there is a symbiosis shared between them. Each one needs the other to survive but both are too proud to admit it. So they stand there independently, yet in harmony with one another
