Description


This is "The East" in Harmony Lodge in Galveston, Texas. In the 1930's Egypt was really in style so they made this lodgeroom look like an Egyptian temple. Everything is hand carved. If it wasn't painted you would still see all the shapes and textures in the room. The whole building is fantastic to say the least. I'll add more pics later.

Very nice. Egpyt is kick ass. Now if only they had a Sphynx and a giant Pyramid. lol But then who'd need to go to egypt after that?

Fantastic work and the symbolism is historic for this group. I studied the course of history to include the Templars, Crusades, Masons, Hermetics, etc and they fascinate me completely! Thank you for directing me to this!
