Description

::: Part 17 of a series of Warbird Photos ::: Taken at the Planes of Fame Museum on Chino Airport, California. (8/21/03) Aircraft is, as usual, a North American P-51D Mustang ('Wee Willy II'). As I was in one of the hangers taking photos, I looked over at this Mustang and saw that since she was puched up right in front of the hanger opening, she had a very nice silhouette and reflection going on her 'skin'. So, I had to take a photo. This is one of my new favorite P-51 Photos... (And I took it with one hand as I was on my cell phone at the time!!) Camera is a digital Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 MP). This image has been shrunk down to 33% of the original full size. Manual Focus, custom White Balance, Priority to Shutter mode.

Unfortunatly, these photos will probably be going up for sale in a store (the Planes of Fame Museum) so I won't be able to.
