BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Wonderful work and very creative model ! The colors of the sky are pretty, if they integrate very well in the composition. Congratulations !

Heartbreaking in it's aloneness yet so strong and beautiful.

Your colors are beautiful, and the line of the mountains adds to the composition; it mirrors the line of one of the arms of the figure. It looks a little like a sword.

The texture seems so different from your other works, I might have to re-visit your gallery to see if I am correct. Otherwise, as I feel on all your work, it suits the finished piece so well. BUT? Is this a good omen or a bad omen? ;)
