Description
I'm crossposting this to a couple places to try to pick the brains of all the talented people I know.. I apologize if you've seen this more than once.
This is my first image where I'm tackling more than just minor postwork. I'm working mainly in Painter 7 on the postwork because I've found the liquid brushes to be very helpful for what I'm attempting to accomplish here. I'd really like some advice about where I'm at with this one and where I'm going with it ::grins::
The dress color is a bit off, I think. What I want to do is give the impression of blood and have the nice beginnings (I think) at the hemline. There's something nagging at me as well that I can't quite put my finger on and was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what it is.
BTW, does anyone know if Photoshop brushes can be converted for use with Painter 7?

The look on her back and arms is fantastic, ouch... That's must hurt... ;) The dress, well maybe the red is a bit too bright?

Yeah, I totally agree. I'm working on that ::grins::

Very interesting texture work! I would go for a more "congealed" blood look..try a purplish red color maybe...:)

I agree, the color needs to be deeper.. other than that, looks like you are off to a great start.. Can't wait to see the finished image!

I agree. Use different blood colors to get a true blood image, and I don't think the whole dress should be bloody. Maybe the dress should look worn and torn or something? However, her back and arms are amazing!
