Description

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." --Helen Keller For the past three months now, I've been trying to create celestial lighting effects and I've finally figured it out. (I'll post a tutorial in the next few days.) Im think im happy with the way this turned out. Though I don't really know where the idea came from. But I really enjoy taking the time to look up at the stars. On a good night, when the sky is light up like shimmering diamonds on a black velet cloth, its almost like having the ability to see into time itself... ** Technical Notes ** Premium Render with heavy volumetric settings. Rendering time wasn't that bad actually.. but its late and I can't remember how long it took. Character created by Mike Beals (bacasino@earthlink.net). The aurora effect was created by 12 directional spotlights in a dense volumetric atmosphere. Tutorial will be available soon. Created and rendered in Bryce 5.0. Slight colorization work in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 I hope you like it. Thanks for taking a look and commenting
