Description
Early morning on the 6th October 1829. The Rocket sits quietly waiting for the trials to begin. Not yet knowing that it's going to win and change the course of history.
Made this with the competition in mind. Modeled in Bryce primitives. (I've really got to get a modeling program.)

Great modeling! Must've took you a bit of time to put it all together. Appropirate that you made it look like an old faded photo. Out of curiosity... how FAST did this "Rocket" get to?

Took a while. "...performed faultlessly and on it's final run George Stephenson forgot his usual caution, driving at the unprecedented speed of almost 30mph." Thought it looked better like an old photo, even though there probably wasn't photography back then.

Wonderful model!! I really love the racer and the old photo feel. I can see them getting ready to take off with excitement on their faces. :-)
