Description

Testing the Translucency Pro plugin in the transparency channel, trying to figure out more about this powerful plugin. HDRI reflection map and GI used together with manual lighting (thow with slight artefacts, du to failed optimiztion of the radiosity settings -> +16 hour render). The vines were box modeled and inspired by the work of Cristobal Vila, who's scene Canestra di Frutta is a pure show of excellence, both modeling and expecially texture wise. Thank you for viewing!

Wonderful work! The grapes do have a few artifacts, but nobody would notice it wasn't a photo unless you told them it was! The vines and leaves look wonderful together!

Looks really Great! I dont know about how to implement this in Cinema 4D, but those grapes really could use some sub surface scattering, so that they glow from within, and have translucent mass. Maybe try http://www.maxon.net/pages/dyn_files/dyn_htx/htx/254/00254_00254.html for a plugin.

Thanks! Livin4jesus, the grapes are using sub surface scattering, thats why the grapes have a slight hollow effect.
