I would rather say late winter :) The surface is excellent ... don't sure about the sky ... IMHO it could be more clean & frosty, but maybe it would change the whole mood of the pic ... Anyway it's up to you to decide what mood should it have ... :) Nice work ...

I had trouble deciding what to do with those spikes. I like your idea - hide them against the mountains. Wild looking strata & color. Great contrast with the (perfect) snow.
