Description

I was trying to make an image that i could easily translate into a black and white design, so the focus of the image here is not so much photo rendering, but formal aspects of composition and design. Its a subtractive drawing (i black out the entire page and erase where i dont want black) Its definitely my favorite way of blocking out the huge highlighted shapes, although the fact that the entire paper (a warm press non-sulfate paper) was blacked out shows through. It was fun times, although a bit hard on the feet.

Thank you for all teh technical detailes. For one who has never got real training at art school this is as precious as a tutorial. I think you've achieved a very nice 3d effect here.
