Description

This is the finished product from my 1 Oct posting. The inspiration for this is a trip I made in 1992 to an office near the top of the World Trade Center. This low level government bureaucrat had an office up there that had the most amazing view out his window. I was mesmerized throughout the whole time I was up there. The second source of inspiration was at a Consumer Electronics Show in Tokyo. A company there was demonstrating the first generation of what they called "Smart Glass". This glass had the ability to be transparent, display computer input to include text, graphics or camera feeds, all in solid monitor-like output, or as an opaque overlay to what you see through the glass. Amazing stuff. I tried to combine these two inspirations into a futuristic environment where they would be commonplace. Now the unanswered question...am I anal enough to build and entire starship, hanger, and office for one picture? I'm afraid the answer to that is YES, I reckon I am. But hey, what fun it was! (I don't know....I think I like the ship hanger by itself without the foreground) +++FISH SENDS+++

did you ever think of doing star trek scenes? This reminds me of a veiw from inside a space dock. Looks great. :)

Very nice render, but a little dark. Maybe you could have made your overhead lights a little brighter, and then turn down the reflection on the windows, to prevent glare. Other than that, i like your star trek console panel. :) Seagram
