Description

This was my entry for the cover contest---no luck of course:( I did have fun making it though and learned alot about the power of photoshop blending tools. I started with the rendered background, which was modeled in bryce. then using photoshop I added in the laser lights, the santa and the airship (which were also modeled and rendered seperatly in bryce) the snow was made with an picture of stars made in universe creator, and the clouds, moon, and plane were photographs from www.imageafter.com and www.mayang.com thanks to everyone gave me support when i first entered this, and thanks for taking a look!!

Awe, didn't get the first post. Nonetheless, I definitely think this should have been on one of the covers. It's interesting to look at and embody's the theme. Someone would actually stop and look at all the stuff going on in this image. It's a travesty that it didn't get an honorable mention. The composition of this image is great. Make that Excellent.

Actually when I previewed these in the beginning I thought this would be a dead ringer for the cover. It is excellent.

Well like I said in the forum, this should of won. And just because it didn't doesnt mean this wasn't the best picture submitted. Excellent job on it. I had to vote for Santa Claus...

This is a great image woodhurst and well deserving of a cover! Your description of the construction of your scene is a mini-tut in itself. I love all the detail!
