It seems that you alone have been plucked from the world of mortals and placed in that mysterious zone - neither heaven, nor hell, in the world but it has lost all awareness of you. You do a great job invoking sympathy/pity by showing not just that these are lost souls, but why they're lost. It reminds us that we, too, could end up there. I've added this poem to the Mod's Pick list.
