Description
I did this ll"X14" piece with two pieces of frosted mylar plastic and one sheet of stonehenge paper. I drew the deer on the paper and then traced it on both sheets of the mylar. The underpainting was done all in acrylic paint, and then the second mylar sheet was done in colored pencil, both sides. The third sheet, which was also mylar, was done in both acrylic and colored pencil, both sides. When put together, this technique looks almost 3 dimentional because you can see through all of the pages. Comments anyone?

Really nice work! I think it's a really interesting technique. I wonder how it would look if one of the under layers was done much darker? Might give some nice shadow effects.
