Description

I did this in about 20 minutes in MS Paint. It takes a long time when all you are using is a 1 pixel brush, black on white. Really the point of this image is purity of the medium. What can be more basic than a 1 pixel black brush, with no anti-aliasing? It expresses a feeling that I have felt many times - that of desparate, solitary prayer... when I am not even sure if it is reasonable to ask God what I am asking...

I just had to stop and comment on this. It's terrific! Very artistic and emotional. I can feel the hope and the doubts. It's amazing that you did this in MS Paint with a one pixel brush! Excellent work. :)

Love this drawing :) desparate, solitary prayer... for me, is the best kind of prayer because you let the Holy spirit pray for you, God knows your heart.

This is an amazing image! And you convey the thought very well. I know what you are talking about. I have had many occasions to engage in desperate prayer.
