Description

Inspired by Escher's etching. One of my favourite artists. But what if the hands, forsaking creativity, took up the option of destruction? I had completed this sometime back as a cover illustration on a study of conflict. Guess all conflict is a moment robbed of its potential to be creative. Hands imported from Poser, rendered in Bryce and worked on in Photoshop. Decided to post it now. imonryze.jpg

Great work, reflects human nature of destroying itself? Maybe I'm thinking too deeply. But anyways, great concept!

A modern spin on it for sure. It is genious in its opposition to ol MC. I love it much. A fab grasp of your tools. The blending of the mediums is terrific!

Escher seems to be making a comeback. I didn't think this one would be possible but there you go! Well done. I hope to be posting my take on 'Reletivity' soon.

Hey thanx a lot folks! :) I wonder if some of you have seen Boris Vallejo's Dragon Tattoo coming alive on the guy's bicep? Have forgotten the name. was wanting to do a further twist on this and have a tattoo on each hand also come alive! :P But other then the visual impact, they would not convey more then what the picture already does.
