Description

------------- Tasha Moonshadow

She was born Talasha Moonshadow, granddaughter of Eleanor Moonshadow, daughter of Amethyst, and sister to Jasmine, the three Daughters of Isis at the founding of the Second Holy Symballan Empire. They met their ends, sacrificing their lives to destroy Kaleal S'rryth, the first and most powerful Liche of the ancient world. Following their fall, the Church was far from leaderless. It could be said that it had too many prospects to assume the mantle of High Priestess of the Church of Isis. As the most powerful Sect within the Church, even more powerful than the Sect of Ra itself, there much to be gained or lost by the wrong choice.

As it so happened, the final choice came down to two fellow adventurers, members of the Pharaoh's elite cadre, and ex-members of the Silver Gryphon. A bond had already been forged between them that was even deeper than that between mother, daughter, and granddaughter. They were true sisters beneath the veneer of blood. One, Sarafina Beni-Isis, was the Mystic, the studious intellectual. Tasha had a different way of dealing with things, with her flaming sword. She carried forth the light of Isis, but did so as none in the church had done before, as a militant.

She had convinced her mother and grandmother in the years following the Pharaoh Shalud's religious genocide that the church needed a militant arm, and it had fallen to her to create such a thing. During the revolution, her band of militant priestesses had been assigned the task of guarding the Prophet's true love, and the future Queen, Nefertari Halima Fallahin. With the death of the Daughters of Isis, her political pull with the Queen was more a reason than any for her to hold the position. But it was her unwavering faith and loyalty in the face of death and darkness that won her the Avatar's favor.
