Description

Model is based on a camera purchased for five dollars at a flea market in northern Ohio. There was a time when it would have had more value. A time when it would stop time and capture a memory. But not now, not in this age of megapixels and memory cards. And though it is still in excellent condition, it's now destined to be a display item, to sit on my shelf, and collect now only dust.

I heard those things captured your soul if they took your picture. I'd best avoid this image. :) Nice work, Hewsan...very detailed.

My Dad had one like this. Those flash bulbs were blue, and they were only good for one shot. They smelled bad and kind of melted when they went off. He also had an old Poloroid in a flat brown fold out self contained case. It came out of itself like an accordian, and you had to put a coating on the photos that smelled really bad. Thanks for the memories, and this is a great model, as well.
