Description

A fullblown-capture, so this is what you get! No much room for composition! The same for "the Swift-one"! Formerly I was proud to make these images, but all your objects are precisely in the middle! That is no surprise because with macro you have to pay so much attention to focussing and dof, there is no time left for composition! Especially not with butterflies, they will be long gone before you even think of compo! Making your object 1/2 or 2/3 of the possible size, gives you the possibility to make a good compo-crop afterwards! Staying further away also gives a much better dof, apart from the aperture-size! It also gives you a better chance to make a good shot! PapaGuru.

I know how much of a pain in the a$$ those butterflies can be. Missed a huge one the other day, the size of both of my hands together. :( Anyways, beautiful coloring on this one! Lovely shot, and hope you feel better soon! =)

Oh, I just love this little ballerine... And I know how difficult it is to catch them on a camera... their beauty is the only thing that metters in those shots and this is a right approach.
