Description

This is a picture of a sunset at my parents' place in Sunapee, New Hampshire. I took it with my Sony DSC-P72 digital camera. Its really a great little camera but I can't manually control the fstop, shutter speed, ISO value, or exposure with it, so it makes these scenes difficult. I have no tripod so holding it still long enough at dusk is also a problem. I'm not a photographer, or artistic at all really, I'm a computer engineer. I recently saw the Nature's Best 2003 awards exhibit at the Smithsonian museum of natural history and enjoyed it very much. It inspired me to post these photos for critique. I posted two of these photos in my galery, each using the camera a little differently (trying to influence speed mostly). Which one is better? Are they any good? Thanks!
