Description
The Campbell, the river our town is named after. This is just where it empties into salt water, at the spit in the center of the picture. The buildings are the seaplane base. during the heyday of coastal logging in the '80s, this was the busiest seaplane base in the world. Love this sunshine, after the prolonged rains, but for some reaason the water in my yard is stiff every morning. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Beautiful view, and that blue, that is something else, outstanding. That stiff water sounds a bit serious though, better watch out it will all become soft and white an fluffy

Very nice shot Jim, you've captured the magnitude and power of the river beautifully:) There is a great sense of scale and as always you tempt me with a bend..what is around that corner..ah a seaplane base..that would be interesting, even if there are no seaplanes left...
