Description

Yes we do sometimes get spectacular displays of the Aurora borealis or "Northern lights" here in Rhode Island USA! This picture was taken from my backyard at 10:30 p.m. Is this what you saw the other night? Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.

Fantastic Picture! Incredible to look at. Sort of a 'Sunset in Outer Space" Fascinating! I have never seen anything like this around here in the Prescott, Az area. What we seen here about a week ago was during the day, and the sky was a little hazy pink and orange, but I think it was from the California Fire and that Sun Solar burst or whatever it was called. Excellent image!

Very cool render. Read your bio, looks like a perfectly reasonalble set of hobbies to me. Went from sitting in a cold car the other night trying to see the aurora, (we did but it was nothing special) to freezing in the backyard tomorrow for the lunar eclipse. Thanks for the visit, take care, Jim.

Ah-HA, found them! Spectacular, too. I heard that we should look tonight (Saturday Nov. 13) also. I love that bright star glowing...very "trekkie" look to it. Excellent...:0)
