Description
Each river and creek along the island has its own group of feathered undertakers. When a salmon carcass washes out of the creek, it causes a flurry of activity, not to mention a considerable racket. What the seagulls and crows don't get, the beach crabs and shrimp do, 'till the skeletons are picked clean and end up looking like a cartoon image. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Apart from the noise of the gulls, that I now can't get out of my head, this looks a really nice peaceful place:) Nature's recycling is really excellent, nothing ever wasted:)
