A coastal relic living in Campbell River, BC., rattling around the beaches and the bush. Hobbies are anything nautical, unsuccesful prospecting and treasure hunting, gardening and photography. Have built and operated 5 commercial salmon/log salvage boats, and still love playing with tools, and messing about in boats.BIO"I have often thought in all the world, The saddest thing to be; Old admirals that feel the wind, But never put to sea." Al Stewart, fron Past, Present, and Future. After a lifetime of fishing, beachcombing,(log salvage) and generally messing about, health issues have put me on the beach for good. You never completely get the salt water out of your veins, though. This gallery gives me a chance to fish some memories out of shoe boxes and share them, something that's rapidly becoming another hobby. I began fishing for money at age 11, 6 if you count trading rockcod for popsicles. I hope you enjoy my reminiscing.

I am glad that I complained to You about the Freedom Geese relieving them selfs on My House...how thoughtful to Dedicate to Me...now that the Sun is shinning...I find the residue that the Dear Canadian Freedom Geese left as their "Calling Card" ...difficult to remove....if You are ever near Foxton, Dear Chap....look for a House that appears to resemble a Spotted Hyena. Your Water is warmer than the Air....brrrrrrh! You are in for it! You will need to snuggle up for warmth :0 Hugz....and thank You :]

I love it when the water has that fog over it...nice shot Jim! .... a little critiquing, not a critiscism, only a suggestion for improvement and just my humble opinion....were this my image a crop off the right hand side to improve the composition and remove the small distractions of powerlines and such from view would be in order. In anycase I do like it! :~)

I agree Michelle, it would. My answer is that I took this on the way to an 8am blood test, and posted it before I had my coffee. I was just pleased later to see it was right side up.
