Description

Fresh water ice alongside a creek at low tide. Fresh water mixes poorly with salt water at first, and spreads out on top as it's lighter. In cold, calm conditions, one can find ice at a creek mouth on top of the unfrozen salt water, 1/8" thick and covering a huge area, There have been cases where wooden boats running through large areas of this, have been cut so badly along the water line they have needed planks replaced. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
