Description

I ran out of inspiration and creativity a few weeks ago, so I've been taking a break from Vue and Renderosity. Therefore, I've got a lot of commenting to do. Sorry for this! :) This picture is an escape from the reality. I'd REALLY love to be at this beach right now! The weather in Denmark is lousy and cold, and it's depressing me :) www.thomaskrahn.com A study in lighting and DOF. I hope you like it! - Thomas :) I hope the weather's better where you live...

Well done, Thomas! Great job on the DOF. I can truly imagine what you're feeling, since the weather in Germany is cold and lousy, too. :)

A truly DIFFERENT beach image! Glad you are running out of inspiration, it drives you to search new grounds :) I love the light and the composition....Maybe the dof is a bit too pronounced...:) But a beautiful and original image!

A lovely composition Thomas! Beaches a quite peaceful. The only niggling problem I have is the foreground seems a bit too blurry, but that might be my tired eyes. Lovely plants as always!

As noted by many, the DOF work is excellent and the foreground colors are particularly vibrant. Exceeleny work as usual.

Oh gosh! I have never seen Thomas Krahn picking up critques. :-) BTW, you didn't ran out of anything; you just can't concentrate for a while. So, I guess it's time for you to realx a bit. :-)

Excellent image. Your grass, trees and leaves are terrific, giving the image an original look. The DOF and light are also excellent. Well done.

Excellent compostion and colors. Personally I'd spend 10 min. of postwork in Photoshop to get rid of that grainy Vue DOF look - well, I almost always mention this, but it can be done in any decent image editor.

Great mood, Thomas, in this one pic. The trees aren't Vue d'Esprit surely. Are they VuePro or xfrog? The originality and imagination are great in you, as I have already said other times. The only small criticism that I can do is as also erka has said: maybe the dof is a bit too pronounced. Bravo and vote naturally!

Excellent scene. I think the DOF works very well, however I agree with bigbraader and would try to get rid of the grainyness. The vegetation is superb as always.
