Description

Thought yesterday morning I would do a dragon asleep on the edge of the water surrounded by flowers. Couldn't believe a great artist had already had done that today (and most brilliantly). Well... continued on with idea with a bit of change of focus (he's not quite asleep). Fiddled around with the water to try and get what I was aiming for... very hard to line up objects under the water, taking into account the refractive index. There are 12 fish and two turtles under there somewhere... plus plants and rocks (a turtle's head is just above the dragon fly facing the same direction. The fish are following not far behind). Oh my. That duck is going to get it soon! Love that water ripple and the texture on that dead tree! The lighting is excellent too. Marvelous scene!

Good work with a tough assignment you have given yourself. Linda need not fear, not much of a meal is that little duck!

Yeah...that duck better look out or he'll be a dead duck, lol! Very cool, Scott, like this very much! Especially like the sly, smug look on the dragon's face.

Very colourful, very rich scene. Brilliant. Keep in mind, that mother nature lines up objects even under water perfectly. But father nature? Seems much more difficult. Lol. Great scene my friend.

Brilliant work Scott! I love the look on the dragon's face. I just have to praise you on the underwater work. It is fantastic! I see so many elements, you must have spent hours on it alone. Bravo!

Indeed the ripple and refraction effects on the water are very impressive. Actually, the dragon looks a little to sleepy at the moment to care about the duck, and the duck doesn't seem intimidated. Maybe they're mates. Wonderful and excellent image, Scott!

Hey Scott, i spent half an hour (or so) trying to find the 12 fishies and turtles. Maybe i was too late, i guess they're all gone by now....:) But the dragon's expression is sooo funny..:)Great image!
