Every night I lie in bed
This little prayer inside my head
God bless my mom and my dad,
and please forgive me for all i've done bad.
And God, there's just one more thing
I wish that you would do
if you don't mind my asking
to bless my computer, too??
Now I know that it's not normal
to bless a small machine
but listen just a second
and I'll try to explain...
You see, that little metal box
holds more than odds and ends
Inside those small components
Rest the way I talk to many friends.
Some it's true I'll never seen again,
But I know for sure they love me
by the kindnesses they give,
and this little scrap of metal
is how I get to where they live.
By faith is how I know them now,
Much the same as I know You.
I share in life it brings them,
So if it's OK with you...
Just take an extra minute
from your duties up above...
to bless this little hunk of steel
that's filled with so much love.

Please let me know what you think, I know the image has some problems, mainly with the textures. I had a day off work and was just playing around, but I do enjoy feedback. So please let me know what you think.

The colors on the face need improvement, they are too much blue whilst the site is more white. For the rest it looks very cool!

I noticed that the text on the monitor is mirrored. You should be able to just flip the UVW map, right? Otherwise, the distance blur on the lamp is a really nice added touch. For a picture you just fooled around with, it's great!

Lol, this is wonderful. :) Great concept, I think you have captured that feeling of late at night when I should go to sleep, but the computer won't let me.. :)

I like the concept, I like the background blurring too. I suggest you try to make her eyes look a little bit lower toward the screen, to the video window would be great. I have the feeling sh's not really looking at the screen. A little more red (or less blue) on the woman lips should make her more alive I think. Finaly, of course, the mirror effect of the textures, but you are already aware of it. Nice work.
