Description

This is the HOKAI A-200, a fully automatic shotgun. Design and manufacturer are fictional. I did the original design on this gun about one or two years ago, but I rebuilt it completely some days ago for some project I am trying to help along with some designs. The A-200 is a self loading selective fire and fully automatic 20mm shotgun. The barrel is polygonal and allows for greater accuracy with slugs and sabot ammunition. The picture shows the weapon with the short 5-shot standard clip and the larger 10-shot extended clip. A drum magazine is also available, but not shown in this picture. The buttstock can be adjusted and folded, blocking the bolt and securing the weapon. The mounting rails are standard RIS-mounts. Design and manufacturer are both fictional.

Oke, The guns are nice, but it misses some textures. Like you will see when they are used. (weathered look) This will make it more realistic.

Polymere parts dont tend to show much weathering and the metal parts are slightly weathered. I do simply not agree that realism has something to do with a weathered look, since I have lots of perfectly real things around me that are not weathered a bit. However, the sole reason for putting them in a small environment was just that I dislike putting them on a white background for presentation. That is why this went into weapons and not into realism. ;)

I dunno... They look pretty weathered and dusty to me. Excellent work!

Polymer looks like polymer and metal like metal. What's not to like? Nasty :)

Kindly have 40,000,000 of those beauties delivered to my troops currently being attacked by forces from Django's Gallery. Could use the back-up. :o) Excellent weaponry!

p.s. The only thing i find odd is the tube under the barrel, normal shotguns have this for the shells to be stored in, but since you have a clip whats the tube fore? jus wonderin

The thing you call the tube is the barrel. Above the barrel is a gas tube. Gas that is taken from the muzzle goes backwards from there to operate the loading cycle. The configuration is somehow similar to the recoil reduction system of the AN-94 assault rifle.

Thanks. I just love playing with volumetric lights, also in this picture they are relatively subtle. :)

Nice, but i am missing a more "realistic" positition for the weapons. Perhaps on the case or in a board.
