Alright. This is a still very basic work in progress version of a scene I am doing on demand. There are still lots of details missing. In fact I haven

It looks very impressive so far. I have a lot of trouble dressing a scene myself. I guess what you fill it with depends a lot on the story you're telling, and the location. I can't quite tell if this is a back room, or a back alley we're looking at here. If an alley, the floor is awfully clean and empty. Perhaps you could add some trash (boxes, newspapers, cans) in the foreground and against the walls? It looks very impressive already though!

Its an alley and you are absolutely right. Trash will be added as well as dirt. I left out those details so far to get a fast preview rendering, since I used radiosity in the image. The details will only be in the final version. Thanks for the feedback so far. :)

Looks super good so far. An alley? floor is too clean and I have never seen an alley with 12'inch tiles. I agree with Daz about trash it up. Looks like he isn't on the ground. If they are waiting for someone they would pull the trash cans away from the wall for some fast inprompto cover - just in case. Wall light is too bright for their safety. a gun butt will take care of that and throw the light to their front instead of back ... Good luck. I will sure watch for your future work. Dwayne

I think that you are on to something very cool here. Modeling wise the only suggestion I can offer is to detail this even more (hinges on door, lockset, threshold step, canopy frame anchor bolts, pipe coupling, support brackets for pipe, miscellaneous pipes and conduits, power switches... etcetera). I suggest that you also take a digital camera and get some really good images to use as a base for your surfacing. Lighting here is still kinda simple, but I suspect that you will give this an even more dramatic look later on. :o)

Thanks for the great feedback. Those are lots of ideas I will try to implement. Thanks for inspiring me! :D
