Description

I got the model from Tephladon ages ago, I can not even remember why anymore. Recently I found it tucked away in an obscure corner of my hard drive. I tweaked some textures and replaced and added others, revamping the surfaces and thought I'd knock out a quick render. Oh I added the sidwinders.

very well done scene!!I like the reflection of the hub in the glass!! and the clouds are very real!!imho adding missiles can improve :) I'm not sure for the f18 but usually the engine's fire is orange/reddish.. excellent!

Hee hee. I got lazy when it came to the HUD. I know I should have added detail there but. This was a quicky after I did the texture tweaks on the F-18. My main motive was to showcase Tephs nice model.

P.S. If you remember the movie TOP GUN, the opening shots. The color of the jet exhaust is almost like that put out by a stove burner. A bright blue. That is where I got the color for the exhaust.
