Description

A mature bald eagle guarding a dog salmon carcass. Eagles don't get their white head and tail until their fifth year. If I was Tedz, I would tell you that after 4 1/2 years, all the mature eagles get together and vote on the accomplisments of the youngster in question. If at least 80% are satisfied with his marks in such eagle skills as soaring, terrifying ducks, and chasing seagulls, he is awarded a probationary white head. If he doesn't fowl up in the next 6 months, he is awarded the white tail as well, and is a full fledged eagle. Unfortunately, I'm not that creative. This was taken through double glazed windows, into a snowstorm. In shock at the snow, I'd been into the scotch, and was somewhat single-glazed. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Well, it's a lot better than I could do, even before a few Malts...so given the weather I think it's excellent! See Yer! Alan.

I want this Software! Is it 99% Proof? I terrify Ducks! I steal re-regurgitated Sardines from Sea Gulls! I have a White Head...well Silver anyway....the only thing I am missing to be a fully Fledged Eagle....is a bit of Tail....sigh....but, I am working on it :]

It's not actually my birthday, not until next month. I was just practicing, and fortifying myself in the face of the inclememt weather. One thing, if I'm forced out in that, no way is my blood going to freeze.

I've seen bald eagles at my brother's place, but never got a good close-up look at one. Regarding your B'day...it's gonna be a cold winter, so if I were you...I'd start celebrating now!! Happy Pre-B'day Jim!!!! :)
