Description

The anchor is from a schooner that sank on the ironically named Shelter Point, in the 1840s. There was no loss of life, but the captain was charged with theft of $20,000 that apparently did drown. The charges were eventually dropped for lack of evidence. The bulk carrier is from Singapore. I guess this proves you reach an age where you know much more about old things than new ones. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Great texture... excellently captured with that ship in the background! Did you tell the captain to be right there for your shop, eh? As always I like your words too, thanks for the history lesson!
