Description
The evolution of this image took a few days maybe longer.
Originally I had the thought of a rain drop in a puddle super macro style with the DOF blurring the subsequent raindrops behind it. A shot from the camera would be too hard so I taught myself the metaball sculpting in Cinema 4D to emulate it.
The image evolved quite a bit. Eventually this was the result of mulling it over for a week or so.
It was set up horizontal with the intention of rotating it. So this image is at it's preferred orientation but could go any which way and still work.

I had to think about it and yea now I remember the cover art for it sort of. I never could sit through that movie, perhaps I was too young. Maybe it did have an influence on why I thought of the babies but I wasn't aware that it did. mmmmm ok I just looked it up, actually it's 2010 that it resembles. But not really. Hey, tough crowd!

Captain's log...stardate 6-55-321, (or something like that!) We have entered what I initially thought to be an asteroid field, We warped down from light speed to further investigate and found that it was a mass of floating embryo's! Apparently a violent take over of the Whosits from the Guesswho's has caused a mass abortion of all the fetus's of the unborn Whosit children. The Guesswhos are dumping the unborn embryo's into space like common trash! I have reported our findings back to the Federation and we are planning a pro-life attack on the Guesswhos! They will respect life or be terminated! I should have Number-One fetch me some Popcorn and Sno-Caps so I can sit back and enjoy the show!
