So much to apologize for... Sorry for any imperfections in the image due to compression. Sorry for a boring landscape. Sorry for using a default texture on the boring landscape.
My goal with this image was to imitate a sunrise I saw last week, and I was successful. The landscape was just an afterthought.

I think you're being too hard on yourself. Each composition has its own focus - you've chosen the sky and it's bloody good! Anyway, given the lighting, you shouldn't see that much detail on the landscape anyway.
