Description
I took this shot a few days ago on my way to Vancouver. I was in a hurry so I only had 5 minutes or so to cope/experiment with the low light situation, as well as balance and all that other crap...plus it was mighty chilly with the wind and all.
I have another version with the dock centered but I liked this one for some reason. I am still very unsure of my ultimate ability to judge the overall quality of a picture so I would really appreciate input. I may disagree with some, but through disagreement one learns so much.
I apologize for the darkness of this image. I have visited Renderosity on many a computer and I have noticed that many people have their screens set on way to low a level of brightness. Poo on you people, cause my screen is perfect. (I guess that statement nullifies my garbage apology.)
I have another shot of this dock posted a few months ago during the big forest fires here...if you are so inclined to take a look-see.
Well it is official, I have broken my personal record for words typed in the notes section of my posting.
Good night all...

Just at the limit for anight picture.Very great

I think it's perfect this way. That dock leads into the pic where it has the most depth. Also i don't feel this is to dark. Having it brighter would ruin the atmosphere ... The only thing i'd possibly change could be a lower POV .. not sure if that would work. :)

8 Seconds worth of amazing tranquility and beauty! Excellent!

It's not too dark for me. Have to agree with DrmzRmyne about the tranquility. Lovely shot =)

Blue mood and nice compo!

yep I agree on a little lower pov, the way a small piece of sea would still be seeb and the dock becomes longer and more balanced in volume for the hills on the othersite. Its not to dark, people should adjust the monitors. Rendo should have a teststrip in it topmenu :) perfect RA, where all not sure ;)

I like it a lot the way it is - especially with those waves "moving".

I really like the atmosphere.... not to dark for me... exposure seems perfect. Think the crop is a bit tight on the dock...
