omg. what a great render... but imho the sky could be mor sharp and the water doesn't look quite realistic, but the ships and the mood are exellent

The sky looks ok to me but I would have to agree the water lets it down a little, otherwise, spot on - Great work!

Wonderful! One can almost hear the wind in the sails and the crashing of the waves against the prow. The lighting is excellent... Sail on...

Hey, Pjero, You must have written down all the pointers I have suggested or noted in others' renderings of this ship. Finally, one of only two or three images done with this ship that looks great. Two small details that you might change to give it more of a realistic air: first, close the gunports. Unless the ships are going into battle or they are in port and airing out the lower decks, the ports would be closed. And since you have titled it "Sailing Home", no one can say they are open for battle. Second, tone down the water reflectivity. It is just a little too metallic looking, with the reflectivity you have on it now. Maybe give it a little more action of the bow wave, it looks more like a little bit of fog than water splashes, etc. Other than that it looks a lot like a painting or a sea novel cover. Nice work.

I'd say you are the master of the tall ships. The water could use a bit of work to rid of the triangular shapes. Coloring is beautiful.

I love the water, although the fore-most spray looks a bit too soft? Also, the compression artifacting melts it a bit for me, but it's STILl an awesome picture! Keep at it!
