Description

Hi everyone---here is my latest lord of the rings render, im really excited to post this one! I have tried this scene several times before, and i finnally got one that I think is worth posting. I worked in a period of 3 days off and on, first I posed and clothed the figures--then worked on the terrains/textures, and finally I added in the terrain details and clouds in photoshop. The helms and weapons are from freestuff. "Upon great pedastals founded in the deep waters stood two great kings of stone: still with blurred eyes and crannied brows they frowned upon the North. The left hand of each was rasied palm outwards in a gesture of warning..." -The Fellowship of the Ring one of the coolest descriptions in the book IMO, the full excerpt is a page long, but I just found the main part of it. thanks for looking! jordan

Really nice, cant think of an bigger Tolkien fan than me, but youv gone before me and modelled this one (have had my thoughts on it quite some time now)! The only thing i can think of that needs improvement is the cracks on the dudes and some weathering of them. VERY nice =)

I'm impressed! Very! The angle of the camera gives it such drama, and it looks just like the scene from the movie in every respect. Your clouds also look totally real, which just doesn't fit with my experience with Bryce.
