BIO
I spent 5 years working for a leading Park Ave, advertising firm. From there I moved on and I am currently a Telecommunications and Networking professional working on projects around the world. I get to do 3D for my job but not nearly as much as I'd like. Lightwave, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver are but a few apps in which I am proficient.

great picture, I like the sun flares, but the atmosphere's edge is a little too sharp IMO.

I lean to agreeing with you dickbill, At this altitude it possibly could be a bit softer. I could have applied a procedural to the atmosphere layer in the transparancy channel to roughen it up a little but upon rendering out the image, well I just did not want to risk going over the top an ruining the image. I thought a long tim about adding the lense flare to the image. Sometimes more is not necessarily better it just ends up being more. So I'll let this one stand as is. Thanks

Are we going to get to see a re-entry next? Great image! Not very often that the lighting, foreground and background elements all get the same amount of attention and consideration in a render.
