..."I want to take this bonnet off *sigh*!"
So who could resist that look of a small cat that just can't understand that wearing a ridiculous bonnet will not help to hurry up Santa? Well, we couldn't so we put a few sweets into Borelli and now Johnnie's a "free" cat again.
What he probably doesn't know (so please don't tell him...): He would have gotten those sweets anyway for today (December 6th) is "Nikolaustag" over here. German children - and most grown-ups - put their shiny shoes outside their doors in the evening of December 5th waiting for Nikolaus to fill them with sweets during the night. As Johnnie doesn't own any shoes we used Borelli instead, because he was a SHOE-box in his old life before becoming Johnnie's very best friend :-)
