Description
Salt and fresh water do not mix well, so here there are three bands of water. The bottom is salt, the top is fresh, and the middle a sort of half and half. Closer to the river mouth, you can stand by the bullrushes and watch beach crabs on the bottom of the river, each in the type of water they need. Tnanks for looking, comments welcome.

Yup...brackish as is the mix closest to us here... quickly moving to salt as one leaves the lagoon....Every once in a while an eel will confuse itself and find it's way closer to fresh than salt and end up in the crab traps...messy business!!! As always, I enjoy the reflections in your shots....
