Description

Among the year round residents here are my gardening assistants, black-tailed deer. You feel at one with nature when you come out in the morning, and find a pair of hoofprints and a hole in the dirt, where a prized plant had been. It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to know you are feeding the furry little woodland creatures. Mind you, the one that ate my prized Romanian garlic nearly made a hunter out of me again. How could you do better than pre-seasoned venison? Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Beautiful image....I can almost smell the garlic from here. Nice of you to feed the fuzzy creatures...gives me a furry feeling. Or perhaps the other way around. Excellent! :)

Another excellent shot! Love this overall view best though, the contrast between the dead grasses and the green trees behind it is rather cool! Thanks for sharing! :) Garlic flavored venison? Hmmm that is like doing a pre marinade! Might be good, you never know! :)

Ouch! Lost most of my apple crop to the chipmunks and squirrels! Imagine the wee buggers nipping off the earliest fruits and dragging them to their nests...quite comical actually! Somehow Apple Stuffed Chippers just does not sound like it will make it to the Sunday dinner table!! Great shot and delicious story there, Jim!
