Thanks for comments. The main question to begin is a good project, with a badly building is dificult to work. The second question is a good client who lets to us make our work. Soon the complicated thing comes, to capture the soul of the building. Once fact this the others is easy, lights point cool to the left, lights point warms up to the right, a sun distant that illuminates us plus the hot zone and projects shades, next to a dark gray light hardly to 20% so that the shades are not dark caves. The degraded light is obtained with lights spot that they illuminate the superior zone and they are smoothly falling downwards with edge angle great, each one of them with its hot or cold corresponding tone. In this scene the light ambient is to 0. The rest is not more than a little experience, textures, etc... and to have in the mind which we want before pressing F9. Do not doubt in asking any other thing.

Beautiful render, my only crit would be that all the cars seem to be the same colour. Apart from that small detail, this is awesome.

Errr. There is a hotel in Eliat, Isreal that is almost a dead ringer for this model. Just connect the two side buildings in the rear to creat a horseshoe shaped structure and pretty much you have an already existing structure. Just though I would let you know.

You've done an outstanding job here. As with all really good architectural renders, you have been able to pull the focus to the building by sublimating your secondary entourage elements like cars, trees and people. What camera settings do you use?

Hi Moe & others, Thanks for the commentaries. Indeed the first rule of the commercial illustration is not to distract to the brain of the observer with the secondary elements, this is obtained using several tricks; among them one could be to use the white color for the cars - ArlenT; -) -, to use discreet colors for the surroundings, personages, etc... and to create an illumination adapted to the building. The camera settings are standards: zoom lens 2,162, and the image cropped in an image edition program.
